It is important to keep in mind the following points while having breakfast in the morning.

1) If you have a good night’s sleep and are very hungry in the morning, take a full meal. But if you have a late meal, morning stool is not good, then take a light diet. But the body should have good habits.

2) Breakfast should be changed according to season, summer, winter, monsoon.

3) Do not eat very oily and spicy breakfast in the morning.

4) Proteins, carbohydrates and sugar should be balanced in breakfast. Nowadays, many people stop eating sugar even if they don’t have diabetes for fear of developing diabetes. This is very dangerous because the brain needs sugar to function.

5) Fruits and vegetables grown in the country where we live should be included in the diet as much as possible.

6) Use natural vegetables, grains, fruits without using any chemical ingredients or artificial colors in the diet.

7) Irrespective of any condition, a person should take one spoon of cow’s ghee and one cup of cow’s milk in the morning. A person with kapha prakriti should add a pinch of turmeric and sunta powder in milk while drinking.

Foods that can be taken for breakfast according to the above:

This is a traditional Maharashtrian dish. Mix wheat flour, gram flour, sorghum flour, nagli flour, rice flour.

Add asafoetida, cumin powder, chili powder, salt, coriander, some garlic to it and mix it with water. Roll it into small balls and fry it on a pan. It should be eaten with dhapata, good ghee, lemon pickle, wet coconut chutney.

Metkoot rice

Those who have weak digestion or those who want to eat light food should eat hot steamed rice with sajuk ghee and khamang metkoot on top.

Khichdi

A khichdi made by combining broken grains, peanuts, all pulses (moog, gram, tur, lentil) and adding ghee to it should be eaten with lemon pickle. Being all pulses, it is rich in protein.

Millet flour, semolina flour, nagli flour should be prepared in a traditional way. Add curry leaves and ginger to it so that it becomes easy to digest.

brave

Add asafoetida, cumin, salt, chili powder, coriander, water to all pulses flour, rice flour, wheat flour and make a thin mixture and add it like a dosa on a nonstick pan.

Pachadi

Add cabbage, tomato, carrot, green gram, cumin, salt, lemongrass as per your taste and mix and eat. You can also eat various laddus with this, because breakfast is filling.
