Brahmamuhurta falls between the hours of 2 and 6 in the night, i.e. during the Vata period, and Vata is at its strongest during that time.
Therefore, if you wake up during this period, the excretion of faeces and urine becomes spontaneous; Because motion is required for emission and it is obtained by wind.

Brahmamuhurta is the period of Sadhana of Rishis. Therefore, if you wake up during this period, you will also benefit from the integrity of the atmosphere.

🔸 Damage caused by waking up late
Kapha period begins after Brahmamuhurta. Kapha is of the opposite property of dynamic vata, i.e. static.

Waking up late does not give the wind speed for the excretion of faeces and urine. Then one has to drink tea, coffee or hot water to create this motion. This again leads to indigestion.

Improper excretion of mala affects fire. This causes health problems. Waking up late and sleeping all day are the reasons why many obese people do not succeed in losing weight even after trying hard.
